Medium Temperature Case Glass Door Installation
Specific to Retail Grocery Clients
For grocery clients who desire to maximize the efficiency and utility savings of their medium temperature cases, we offer installation of glass doors on most all brands and years of cases. We will perform a store survey of all open front cases and submit to the client a project which will return as much as 40-45% energy savings on their electricity costs. We will also survey any needed refrigeration modifications needed to install these door systems and find viable solutions at a cost that makes sense. We will order the materials (unless the client has a national account with their own vendor), we will hire, manage and provide oversight for all contractors and we will perform all commissioning work and ensure full functionality of case doors, refrigeration controls (including temp sensors, TXV’s and proper superheat) so our clients do not have to concern themselves with the day-to-day actions of the project. We will hand to them a fully functional, completed project, on time and on budget.
Cases with open fronts are terribly inefficient and cost major amounts of money to refrigerate, having most of that air bypass the case and get into the store itself.
Open front cases with added doors are 40-60% more efficient and can reduce the cost of refrigeration in a store by over 40%, saving the store $1000’s of dollars every month in utility costs and keeping product fresher due to less temperature fluctuation in the case (especially for sensitive product like dairy and meat).
